Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Glitze ("the Platform") at glitze.in, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users including business owners (sellers) and their end customers.
2. What Glitze Provides
Glitze is a WhatsApp business management platform that enables small and medium businesses to:
- Manage a product catalog and sync it to their WhatsApp Business catalog
- Use a WhatsApp business number provisioned and managed by Glitze
- Receive and manage customer orders via WhatsApp
- Collect customer payments for orders and pay out collected funds to the business, minus a commission
- Automate customer replies using AI
- View conversations and order analytics via a dashboard
Glitze operates as a technology and payment-facilitation intermediary. We are not the seller of any business's products.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Glitze
- You must be a registered or operating business in India
- You must provide a valid WhatsApp phone number for verification
- Each phone number may only be associated with one Glitze account
4. Account & Approval
After signing up, your account is subject to activation by the Glitze admin team. You can build your product catalog while your account is pending, but publishing your catalog to WhatsApp is only available once your account is activated and a WhatsApp business number has been assigned to you. We reserve the right to approve, reject, or suspend any account at our discretion. You will be notified of your account status via the dashboard.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Do not share your OTP or session with anyone.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Glitze to:
- Send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or promotional content to customers who have not initiated contact
- Sell prohibited, illegal, or counterfeit products
- Misrepresent your business, products, or pricing
- Violate WhatsApp's or Meta's Terms of Service
- Harvest or misuse customer data collected through the platform
- Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose under Indian law
6. Product Catalog & Content
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your product listings including names, descriptions, prices, and images. Glitze does not verify product information. You must ensure your catalog complies with all applicable laws including consumer protection regulations in India.
When you sync your catalog, your product details and images are published to your WhatsApp Business catalog through Meta and become visible to your customers. Your products must comply with Meta's Commerce Policies. Glitze is not responsible for products rejected, removed, or restricted by Meta during their catalog review.
6a. WhatsApp Business Number
Glitze provisions and assigns a WhatsApp business number for your account. This number is operated through the WhatsApp Business API on your behalf and remains managed by Glitze. It is used to receive customer messages, send automated replies, and display your catalog. The number may be reassigned or deactivated if your account is suspended or terminated.
6b. Public Discovery & Search
Once your account is approved, Glitze may display your business name, type, description, and product listings (including images and prices) in public, unauthenticated areas of the platform — such as the business/product search at glitze.in/find — to help buyers discover and contact you. This is part of the core service and does not require a separate opt-in.
If you'd prefer your business or specific products not appear in public search results, contact contact@glitze.in and we will exclude them.
7. AI Auto-Replies
Glitze uses AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to automatically respond to customer messages on your behalf. You acknowledge that:
- AI responses are generated based on your catalog and business information
- AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information provided to customers through AI replies
- You can disable AI auto-replies at any time from your dashboard settings
8. WhatsApp Compliance
By using Glitze, you agree to comply with Meta's WhatsApp Business Policy and Terms of Service. You must not use the platform to send messages that violate WhatsApp's messaging guidelines. Violations may result in your WhatsApp number being banned by Meta, for which Glitze is not responsible.
9. Orders, Payments & Payouts
When a customer places an order through your WhatsApp storefront, Glitze collects payment directly from the customer using our payment processor, Razorpay, at the price shown in your catalog. Glitze holds these funds on your behalf until they are paid out to you.
Glitze periodically transfers collected funds to your registered bank account, minus a commission for the order(s) included in that payout. Each payout is accompanied by a statement showing the orders included, the gross amount, the commission deducted, and the net amount paid. Payouts are currently processed manually by the Glitze team; Glitze does not store your bank account details on the platform. Glitze acts as a payment collection and remittance facilitator for orders placed through the platform — we are not the seller of the products themselves. You remain solely responsible for:
- Product quality, accuracy, and fulfilment
- Delivery and shipping to the customer
- Responding to customer complaints about products or service
- Honouring refunds where appropriate, which Glitze will process on your instruction
Glitze is not responsible for fraud or misrepresentation by either the business or the customer, but will assist in resolving disputes related to payments processed through the platform.
10. Service Availability
We aim to maintain 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Glitze may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control (including Meta/WhatsApp API downtime). We are not liable for any loss arising from service interruption.
11. Intellectual Property
All platform code, design, and branding are the property of Glitze. You retain ownership of your business content (catalog, descriptions, images). By uploading content to Glitze, you grant us a licence to store, display, and process it solely for the purpose of providing the service.
12. Termination
You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, during which you may request an export.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Glitze and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of revenue, data, or business opportunity.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Tamil Nadu, India.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Glitze after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance. We will notify active users of material changes via the dashboard.
